LAHORE (FNNI) Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the great leader of Pakistan who has steered the country out of crisis and put it on the path to development and the country is speedily heading towards its destination of development under his leadership. He said such standards of transparency and speed have been achieved in the completion of the development projects that are unparalleled in the 70 years history of Pakistan. He said resources worth billions of rupees have been saved in mega development projects and there is no such precedence of saving resources in the history of Pakistan. He said baseless allegations have been leveled against such honest and selfless leader who has set highest standards of transparency in development projects and has spent national resources on public welfare projects in an honest and transparent manner. He said the nation will always remember historic role of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in eliminating darkness of load-shedding prevailing for the last 20 years and the nation will not forgive those who intercepted the progress through negative attitude and negative role.

Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said bringing about improvement in the living of the deprived segments of society is the manifesto of the PML-N and the government is acting on its manifesto under the leader of Nawaz Sharif. He said the mandate given by the public to the PML-N has been honored and the people are getting benefits of speedy and timely completion of mega projects. He said fear and irritation of opponents of public prosperity is increasing and some of the political elements deprived of public service are trying to spread unrest in the country. He said politics of anarchy, differences, and allegations is poison for the development and progress in the country. He said rejected political elements are becoming an impediment in the way to progress for their lust of power and such elements want to take revenge of their defeat by obstructing the progress, but those wishing to create uncertainty in the country for personal interest will face defeat once again. He said the people have recognized fake and true leaders and they are annoyed with those spreading unrest and obstructing progress. He said mandate to rule is the way to serve the public and such mandate is obtained by serving the public and negative politics has no value as compared to the politics of public service. The Chief Minister said those trying to get power to rule from back doors will not succeed. He said those who show new circus daily at the cost of the country’s development should change their negative attitude because politics of allegations and lies is worthless when compared with politics of public service, honesty, and transparency. The Chief Minister said the PML-N has always kept public interest supreme and the PML-N has served the country and the nation from the depth of its heart for the last four years and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has become a ray of hope for the people due to public service, honesty and transparency and he take forward the journey of the public service again.

The Chief Minister expressed these views while talking to a delegation of PML-N and MNA Rao Muhammad Ajmal who called on his here today.

Rawalpindi (FNNI) Rawalpindi Council arranged a display of artwork of its classes aim to provide a platform to the new talent of the area here on Friday. Additional Secretary Culture, Information and Culture Department, Saman Rai flanked by Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition.The students from more than 20 training courses including Fashion Designing, Textile Designing, Stain Glass, Interior Decoration, Painting, Flower Making, Glass painting, cutting & sewing and Pottery Decoration class put their work on display.

Addressing at the inaugural ceremony, Additional Secretary Culture, Saman Rai said that professional education is a great source to lessen unemployment and the youth would be able to get respectable jobs and Rawalpindi Arts Council is imparting practical and technical education to the young talent which is an appreciable step.

Naheed Manzoor said by giving practical training to our youth is according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed gave a detailed briefing about the cultural activities arranged by the Council.

LAHORE (FNNI) Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that PML-N government is honoring its promise of steering the country out of the quagmire of problems and putting it on the road to of progress. All out resources are being utilized for removing darkness from the country, he added. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, unprecedented work is being carried out for the elimination of energy crisis. He said that PML-N government has introduced a culture of working day and night and power plants are being completed expeditiously throughout the country for overcoming the shortage of energy. By the end of 2017, thousands of megawatt electricity will be added to national grid with the completion of energy projects, he added. He expressed these views while talking to office bearers of PML-N.sh The Chief Minster said that due to poor policies of former rules, the country was pushed into darkness. Had the past rulers been made serious efforts for the elimination of energy crisis, the country would not have to face the shortage of energy. He said that energy sector was neglected during the dictatorial era while hurdles were created in energy projects like development projects through aimless sit-ins. Shehbaz Sharif said that government of PML-N is working on the generation of electricity through coal, wind, solar, gas, hydro and other cheap sources. In Punjab, 3600-megawatt gas-based power stations are being set up on the half price of such projects installed in the past and are resulting in the provision of cheap electricity to the masses. Sahiwal Coal Power Plant will be completed before the stipulated period and will generate 1320 megawatt electricity, he added. He said that PML-N has always done the politics of service, honesty, and hard work. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the country has been put on the road to peace and light and people will cast their vote on the basis of performance in 2018 elections. Those creating hindrance in the way of development of the country will once again have to face defeat, he added.

He mentioned the steps taken by the government to empower the women and highlighted the importance of the women’s rights. Citing Islamic teachings and examples from the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Chief Minister said Islam has given unprecedented rights to the women. He invited three girl students to the stage from the Daanish School Hasalpur who had won an international competition held in the US and said these girl students are the real face of Pakistan. He admired their intellect and competence. The chief minister also invited to the stage Dr. Khudeja who had taken financial support from the Punjab Education Endowment Fund for the medical studies. He talked to the lady doctor. A resident of Okara Dr. Khudeja said she thanks the chief minister because she could not have become a doctor if she had not got support from the PEEF. The Chief Minister got emotional and said you are the daughter of the nation and the PEF financial support is not his favor but this is your right. He said the state is responsible for providing education and health facilities to its citizens.  The Chief Minister criticized those who called the traveling facility of the common man Metro Bus Project as Jungla  Service and he said it is very regrettable that students, teachers, laborers, widows, nurses and doctors commute by metro bus services, and this mega transport facility of the common man are criticized baselessly.He said the Punjab government has recruited two lakh and 20 thousand teachers purely on merit and now even president, prime minister and the chief minister cannot get recruited anybody in violation of merit. 32He said we introduced merit-based and transparent system, but everything has not been corrected so far and we need to work hard and hard and proceed forward.

LAHORE (FNNI) A meeting was held between Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Chaudhary Ahmed Saeed. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and political issues came under discussion. While talking to Chaudhary Ahmed Saeed, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that selfless service of the people is our mission and utmost work has been done to deal with the energy crisis under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during three and a half year and the country has started its journey of development and prosperity.

Chief Minister said that the work on energy projects is being done speedily under China-Pakistan economic corridor. 1320MW Sahiwal Coal Power Plant would be completed much earlier before its deadline and this project would start producing electricity in the current year. The gas based electricity producing 3600MW projects would give keep electricity to the people. During the current year, many electricity producing projects would be completed and thousands of Megawatt electricity would be produced which would end load shedding. He said that due to sit-ins of elements opposing public welfare and nation development, delay resulted in energy projects. While the previous Government pays no heed to solve the energy crisis and left the nation in darkness due to inefficacy, slackness, and corruption.

Had the previous ruler pay heed to solve the electricity crisis, the country would not have been in darkness. He said that Pakistan Muslim League government is a trend setter by completing the projects with transparency and high standard. Nation’s Rs 112 billion have been saved by ensuring transparency in three gas-based 3600MW electricity producing projects in Punjab. He said that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Government is free from corruption and no enemy can point the figure at the Government. The leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) will live and die with the people of Pakistan. As long as I am alive, I will continue serving the people selflessly. He said that Pakistan is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the promises made with the people would be fulfilled at every cost.

The Chief Minister said that Indian forces have unleashed a reign of terror against Kashmiri people but it cannot suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiris and deprive them of their right of self-determination. He said that international community should take notice of the brutalities of Indian armed forces in Occupied Kashmir. He said that Indian army cannot deny Kashmiris of their fundamental right of self-determination through the use of force. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has raised Kashmir issue at every level and he is deeply interested in progress and development of Azad Kashmir. Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government is providing huge funds for the programmes aimed at provision of basic amenities to the people of Azad Kashmir.
